EU Directive RoHS 2002/95/EG

From July 1^st, 2006 the RoHS-(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive 2002/95/EG of the EU has to be implemented. The RoHS allows only a limited use of six substances: Mercury(Hg)), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb),  hexavalent Chrome (Cr-VI), polybromated Biphenyle (PBB) and polybromated Diphenylether (PBDE).

CONEC agrees to the use of  `green products` and wants to explain the CONEC way to fulfill the RoHS requirements.

All CONEC products will be RoHS compliant on June 30th, 2005

Because of our large product range you will find a schedule for different product groups in the annex. Until June 30^th, 2005 mixed deliveries of conform and non-conform articles may occur. Products which meets the RoHS directive are clearly marked with a green label on the packaging.

After July 1^st, 2006 we will stop special RoHS marking.
