The new WR 2 has been designed to deliver high performance at an affordable price. This new repair station from Weller is based on our highly successful WR 3M product range and with its 2 channel design it represents a great price/performance package.

In use this new station more than lives up to Weller’s high quality reputation and has the added advantage of being connectable to all of Weller’s High Power Tools range of products. These tools allow operators to work more efficiently both in terms of time and energy as well as helping to extend tip life time.

The 2 channels of the WR 2 power unit allow a soldering and desoldering tool or a soldering and hot air tool to be connected and operated simultaneously. In addition, to save on power consumption, an ECO function on the unit allows the tools to go into a ‘sleep mode’ when not in use.

DSX-80:

Desoldering iron for electronics rework with external, easy to clean solder reservoir. Micro finger switch controls quick start, fast action vacuum pump. Temperature adjustable between 50 - 450 °C.

Different intercheangeable nozzles plus several CSF heads are available. The DSX series tools feature a novel threadless desoldering nozzle fixture system whereby the nozzle is inserted into the head and locked into place by applying a 1/4 turn. This patented feature allows the desoldering nozzles to be quickly an easily exchanged and also improves the rate of thermal transfer from the desoldering head to the desoldering nozzle providing the tools with a faster heat up time and recovery rate.
