VDV PRO - Main Features:

• Integrated RJ11/12 (voice), RJ45 (data) and coax F-connector (video) interfaces reducing the time needed when trasitioning between applications and eliminating the need for replacing lost adaptors
• Integrated tone generator with 4 unique analogue tones for onstant lcoating and isolation of wire pairs in voice, data and video testing
• Detachable remote with RJ11/12, RJ45 and Coax F-connector interfaces that stores securely in the base of the main unit making it easily available and ready for fast testing
• Includes remote probe and carrying case

Voice:
• Tests 3-pair USOC and 6-position RJ-11/12 jacks for voice cable testing
• Will detect RJ-11 (1, 2 or 3 pair)
• Shows Normal or Reverse for pins 1 through 6

Data:
• Tests shielded or unshielded twisted pair cable to T568A/B (RJ45) standards
• Shows Pass or Miswire to indicate reversals, shorts, splits, breaks and opens
• Measures length of UTP, STP and coax cable and displays the distance to a specific fault in wiremap format
• Displays wiremap for 10BaseT and Token Ring when connected to its remote
• Blinks network link LED for visual tracing

Video:
• Tests coax cable for opens, shorts and length with F-connector interface
• Coax mapping with up to eight colour-coded coax remotes
• Includes RCA and BNC adaptors used in cable, satellite and video surveillance systems
