Raspberry Pi:n NoIR HD Camera module V2
Connect the Rasperry Pi HD V2 camera module to any Rasperry Pi computer or to the Compute Module model. With the camera module you can record either HD-quality video or take pictures. The V2-model uses Sony IMX219PQ-sensor(8 megapixels), which is capable of taking quality video and increased sensitivity compared to the previous model.
Attention! The camera module is the same as Raspberry Pi HD Camera Module V2, but without the IR-filter. This makes the NoIR-model best suited for capturing video or images in low-light situations.
Features:
- No IR-filter
- Hi-Res image quality
- High bandwith
- 8 megapixel with fixed focus
- Supports 1080p, 720p/60hz and VGA 90 resolutions
- Sony IMX219PQ CMOS image sensor
- 15-pin ribbon cable
Connecting to a Raspberry computer:
Connect the camera module to Raspberry computers CSI-port with the 15cm ribbon cable. When it is connected, you can use the camera module with the Multi-Media Abstraction Layerin(MMAL) or V4L API. Alternatively you can use Picamera Python or equivalent.
Use cases:
The camera module is ideal when shooting HD-video or still images. The features include time lapse and slow motion. Other use cases are home security and access, nature and animal observation (camera traps).
