STANNOL® No Clean WICK desoldering wick 0.8 mm, white 1.5 m
A new STANNOL® No Clean WICK is designed for static-free desoldering and repair of PC boards without the need for subsequent cleaning.
The desoldering wick uses a halide-free vacuumised no-clean, flux-coated copper braid designed to improve wicking. It will remain flexible and will not flake. The wick will not lose its efficiency even after prolonged storage in humide conditions.
Technical information:
- Fast to use, increased solder absorption
- PCBs will meet MIL-P-28809A cleanliness test without cleaning
- Negligible residues which are non-corrosive, clear and non-hygroscopic
Application: Lay STANNOL No Clean Wick over the solder you want to be desoldered and place the soldering tip on top of the copper braid. The braid will gradually heat and the solder beneath will melt and is absorbed into the braid by capillary action.
Stannol No Clean Wick is supplied on static dissipative spools of 1.5 m. Sales unit: 1 carton (= 10 spools).
